What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exceptional Ed Ancillary (1:1) EA - Tennessee School for the Blind position at Wilson County Schools, TN?
Qualified applicant must have minimum of high school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education is preferred.
The successful candidate will work under the directive of Vice Principal, Andreanita Gordon, at the Tennessee School for the Blind and will follow all IEP goals and EA guidelines set forth by Wilson County Schools. An ancillary EA works one (1) student throughout the day.
This is a part-time, 180-day position with retirement benefits. Current schedule is 4.25 hours per day. Pay rate will be determined by education completed and placement on the Hourly Classified Salary Schedule. For applicants with less than a 2-year degree (or coursework equivalent), the appropriate grade is Grade 1. For those with at least 2-year degree (or coursework equivalent), the appropriate grade is Grade 3. Starting rate of pay will be no less than $13.50 per hour.
