Job Description
We are seeking a qualified individual to serve as a part-time classroom assistant in Wilson County Schools.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and maintain order within the classroom environment.
- Provide instructional support when necessary, under the guidance of the lead teacher.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Post-secondary education or training is preferred.
- The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure a positive learning environment.
Pay and Benefits:
- This is an 18.75 hour per week assignment, with pay determined by placement on Grade 3 of the Hourly Classified Salary Schedule.
- The starting rate of pay will be no less than $14.36 per hour.
