Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote luxury wine brands and increase brand awareness in the market
  • Develop new business relationships with decision makers and identify potential customers
  • Ensure execution of sales strategies, objectives, and revenue generation through partnering with key retailers and establishments
  • Have extensive knowledge of company products and features/benefits compared to competition
  • Prepare professional sales presentations tailored to current supplier programs and customer needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Drive, motivation, and attention to detail to ensure all sales opportunities are captured and explored
  • Wine knowledge preferred but not required
  • Passion for learning about the wine industry or selling/educating
  • Established working relationships with key accounts in given territory
  • Ability to make smart business decisions based on growing sales, profitability, and market shares
  • Proven track record of successful selling
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and objection handling skills
  • Persuasive public speaking and presentation skills and ability to close deals
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience in selling domestic and international fine and luxury wine preferred
  • Brand building and outside sales experience is preferred
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT) and experience using Pocket Advantage is preferred
