Description
Wilson Engineers has a staff of more than 180 personnel specializing in water and wastewater engineering and construction management services. We are seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to join our team (three years of experience preferred) for our Reno Office. We are dedicated to delivering ethical, reliable, high-quality services to our clients based on innovation, while sustaining a challenging and rewarding work environment for our greatest assets, our employees.
This position requires 40 hours per week in our Reno office. (This job is not remote nor hybrid.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Day-to-day job functionality will require working with AutoCAD and Civil 3D in order to create, maintain, and edit structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical plans for water mains, sewer mains, treatment plants and water storage tanks.
- Ability to think creatively and visualize in terms of 3D is required
- Complete multiple assignments successfully through strong communication skills, including written and verbal, with the ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to work in a team setting or independently as necessary
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Must have the ability to arrive on time daily and work from 8 am – 5 pm
Requirements
- Qualified candidates will have CAD related Associate’s Degree (preferred), OR equivalent work experience as a CAD Drafter/Technician
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (version 2010 or higher)
- Proficiency with REVIT
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
- Possess strong organizational skills
