Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Provide patient service by answering questions regarding medications and health-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards for safety and quality.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals.
- Support the Team with daily tasks and needs. Tasks may vary and should be able to adapt.
- Able to Multi-task, answer phone calls effectively and accurately.
- Collaborate with team and other healthcare professionals to finish tasks.
- Able to effectively and openly communicate with the management.
- Participate in continuous education to stay updated on pharmaceutical practices.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration processes and medical terminology.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail..
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
