The Role:
This full-time, salaried exempt position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating all areas involving quality, patient safety, infection prevention, and compliance for our hospital operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management program that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee hospital QUAPI Plan development, review, revision, and implementation.
- Manage and oversee the incident reporting system for all areas of Wilson Health.
- Log and trend incident reports, identify and address problems and or patterns that emerge from this review.
- Serve as Wilson Health Compliance Officer.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, streamline processes, and reduce costs.
- Cultivate and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, initiatives, and outcomes to senior leadership, regulatory agencies, and accrediting bodies.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced professional who possesses the following qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Master's Degree preferred.
- Prior Quality/Risk Management leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards relevant to healthcare organizations.
- Certification in Risk Management or Healthcare Quality or willingness to obtain within two years of hire.
