Role Summary:
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining warehouse management systems and processes within the company. They will interact with Operations and IT teams supporting the delivery of business solutions based on defined business processes and functional requirements.
Scope of the Position:
The Inventory Control Coordinator will work independently, but collaborate with other teams. This position requires <15% travel, with increased travel during the realization phase of implementation.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities expected of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Monitor and maintain warehouse management systems to ensure consistent functionality and minimize downtime.
- Provide training and ongoing support to team associates on system operations and best practices to maintain system integrity.
- Address and resolve system issues, including troubleshooting technical problems and coordinating with IT for advanced solutions.
- Perform regular audits of system usage and data accuracy to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Develop and update system maintenance documentation to support long-term usability and efficiency.
- Facilitate updates and configuration adjustments to the WMS to meet evolving business needs while maintaining system stability.
- Ensure alignment of all team associates’ requests and process changes with the capabilities and configuration of core systems.
- Support labeling systems, including maintenance of labels in yard and warehouse environments.
- Complete weekly system assigned cycle counts.
You will be expected to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
Position Qualifications:
- Proven ability to define team associate requirements and operational efficiencies.
- Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Management or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years technical experience working with supply chain products including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, order management systems and/or Enterprise Application Integration tools. Epicor WMS and Bistrack experience desired.
- Minimum 2 years of Operations’ experience in the field of warehousing/transportation services.
