Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Education Manager, according to established policies and procedures, works with and coordinates the training of other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain educational requirements and professional standards. This role is responsible for performing various departmental responsibilities and ensuring compliance with established nursing policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the training of nursing and ancillary personnel to uphold educational standards and enhance patient care quality.
- Communicate effectively regarding the unique needs of geriatric patients, promoting high-quality patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with established nursing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a school of nursing with unrestricted or active current NC or multistate RN licensure required.
- One to two years of professional nursing experience is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Ability to understand, communicate, and teach effectively regarding the unique needs of geriatric patients.
- Current BLS certification required, or obtained during first week of hire.
