Description:This role requires a strong background in nursing, as well as the ability to communicate and teach effectively, particularly when it comes to geriatric patient needs. Candidates must hold an active RN license and have relevant professional nursing experience, coupled with current BLS certification.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from a school of nursing with unrestricted or active current NC or multistate RN licensure is required. Additionally, one to two years of professional nursing experience is necessary.
Essential Skills:
The employee must be able to understand, communicate, and teach effectively regarding the unique needs of geriatric patients. Current BLS certification is also required, or obtained during the first week of hire.
Responsibilities:Under the general supervision of the education manager and according to established policies and procedures, works with and coordinates the training of other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain educational requirements and professional standards. Work is of a confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.
