Washington, DC Government Contracts Associate

Wilson Sonsini is looking for a dynamic attorney with 3-5 years of government contracts and grants experience to work with our cutting edge National Security practice. This attorney will advise clients on government contracts and grants terms, compliance and administration and assist with the negotiation of prime and subcontracts and teaming agreements. Experience with OTAs, the SBA and SBIR rules, GSA/FSS programs and financial assistance agreements is required. This attorney will also advise deal teams, clients and investors on government contracts and grants in the context of M&A and financing transactions (e.g., diligence, novations). This position will be housed in the National Security Group, and the successful candidate will work alongside team members that handle foreign investment, export controls, sanctions, FCC, FAA (among other related topics) and experience in any of these regulatory areas would be welcome. Preferred location is Washington, DC. We value highly skilled communicators who work well as part of a team and have strong academics. Compensation and Benefits Salary range of $260,000 – $365,000, based on year classification. Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
