Wilson Sonsini is currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our firm's Finance department. The Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of managing client revenues, including billing, collections, and account analysis. In this position, the Account Manager will interface extensively with firm clients, partners, and senior management. The Account Manager will manage a portolio of matters and ensures that the portfolio and individual matters meet firm standards for billing and collections.

Responsibilities :
- Manage revenue of accounts portfolio across billing, ebilling, collections, accruals / budgeting, and client service and attorney team engagement
- Research, identify and take necessary steps to resolve obstacles to prompt, high quality billing that is compliant with client billing guidelines, and to reduce the length of revenue cycle for target accounts
- Negotiate special payment arrangements and timely follow-up according to established schedule in line with the Financial Policies of the Firm
- Provide commercial analysis, insight and advice to attorney teams and assigned partners regarding client service, and financial performance in terms of client revenue and realization
- Contribute to the efforts to improve the overall performance and service level of the revenue team via leading pilot program for ‘end-to-end’ client account management within the Finance organization

The primary location for this job posting is in Palo Alto, but other locations may be listed. The actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location. The anticipated pay range for this position is as follows : San Francisco and Silicon Valley : $102,000 - $138,000 per yearAustin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington : $91,800 - $124,200 per yearSalt Lake City and all other locations : $81,600 - $110,400 per year
The compensation for this position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance. We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
