SUMMARY
The Global Compliance Leader for Wilson Tool ensures the proper implementation and adherence to compliance strategies, policies, and regulations, while ensuring Wilson Tool global entities follow relevant laws, regulations, and policies in their respective countries. This role is a broad role and will oversee many US governmental compliance requirements such as ITAR, ISO, EAR99, DFARS, etc., and participate in global compliance matters related to Import, Export, Free Trade Agreements, PCI, Material Compliance, and more.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute independently, and as part of a team, on a wide range of ethics and compliance objectives related to policies, new law and regulation implementation, communication, auditing, and training.
- Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments in all the countries in which we operate; provide analysis on impact to Wilson Tool and recommendations for implementation.
- Lead the Compliance Committee in quarterly compliance reviews, annual planning and development of audit / testing / compliance review plans.
- Ensure adherence to global trade compliance, including import / export regulations, anti-bribery laws, and other industry-specific standards (e.g., ISO, ITAR, OSHA).
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.
- Identify compliance risks within the business operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure internal policies are followed.
- Recommend corrective actions and track their implementation.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Partner with HR, Legal, Operations, and other departments to align compliance practices with business strategies.
- Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies on compliance matters; reach out and partner with SMEs to obtain insight as needed.
- Assist with global regulatory filings and the management of certifications.
- Train employees on compliance guidelines, requirements, and standards timely as required by law or company policy.
- Respond to supplier agreements requesting proof of compliance in quality, purchasing, process control, product traceability, inspection procedures, product handling, maintenance of equipment, Human Resource policies, etc.
- Build and maintain relationships with and provide advice and serve as trusted subject matter expert to operations and employees on key compliance risk areas.
- Stay current on industry standards by continuing education, reading publications, talking with peers, and joining professional groups
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION
Exempt - $110,000 to $140,000 annually, based on experience.
