The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, memory care, and long-term care, with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve.
Duties
- Assist client with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and engage client in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation.
- Support client with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs, ensuring nutritional requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and any changes in client condition or behavior.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
Skills
- Experience in senior care, memory care, or long-term care is preferred.
- Familiarity with systems related to home health services.
- Ability to work with individuals who have disabilities.
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic living space for client.
- Excellent communication skills to foster relationships with client and families.
