Duties
- Provide outstanding guest services by welcoming and assisting patrons throughout their visit.
- Manage food service operations, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
- Oversee the safety of guests by monitoring activities and enforcing safety protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Assist with events management by setting up venues, coordinating activities, and ensuring all guest needs are met.
- Address any conflicts or concerns raised by guests promptly and professionally.
- Engage with children in a friendly manner when necessary, ensuring a positive experience for families.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive work environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service roles; previous experience in food service or guest services is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle challenging situations with grace.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic financial transactions.
- Experience working with children is a plus, particularly in recreational or educational settings.
- Knowledge of lifeguard duties is beneficial for positions near pools or water attractions.
- Background in events management or theater operations will enhance your application.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with guests of all ages.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by event schedules.
- You'll mostly be working with kids from ages 2-12
