Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and strong customer service skills to maintain a safe and efficient environment for all employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support in daily tasks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Fabricate and weld components to support facility operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Proficiency in welding techniques and fabrication processes.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Leadership skills to effectively supervise a team and manage projects.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with staff and visitors.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in facility operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to maintenance challenges.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
