Position Summary :
The VP, Investment Accounting leads and manages all aspects of reporting of the company's investment accounting for multiple entities on a US Statutory and GAAP basis across various asset classes.
Role Responsibilities :
- Leadership :
Lead the investment accounting team and provide direction that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
Review and evaluate current outsourced investment accounting provider to determine areas for improvement on an immediate and long-term basis
Lead and manage the function's activities, including, but not limited to :
Quality and timely delivery of accounting and reporting, disclosures, and analysis to internal and external stakeholders

Base salary / hourly rate range for this position in Connecticut is between $165,000 and $ 240,000 Please note that specific compensation decisions are based upon a variety of job-related factors as permitted by law, including geographic location, credentials, skills, education, training, and experience.
Base salary is just one component of Wilton Re's total compensation package for employees. Additional compensation includes annual performance-based bonus, 401K with employer contribution, and profit-sharing program. Employee may also be eligible for long-term incentives (equity). All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
