Wimmer Communities is currently seeking a Resident Care Assistant to join our team of talented professionals. Come join us!
We are a 24 bed licensed RCAC within an independent Senior Living Apartment Community.
Hours : 2 : 30pm - 9 : 00PM
Part-Time - 21 hours per week
Every other weekend and holiday
Essential Duties And Responsibilities :
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. .
Under the supervision and direction of our Registered Nurse or Nursing Supervisor :
- Assist with medication administration (experience preferred, but not required)
- Report resident change in condition or concerns regarding resident or the resident’s medication to the licensed nurse in a timely manner as per policy.
- Assist or supervise residents with showers as necessary.
- Perform daily well checks as per policy.
- Perform light housekeeping in assisted living apartments as assigned
- Respond to emergencies promptly
- Perform simple first aid as per policy.
- Assist with meal delivery
- Record resident data on the appropriate forms.
