Win Gardens Greenhouse, a wholesale commercial greenhouse, is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Seasonal Delivery Driver to support our peak spring season. This is a time-sensitive and physically active role that requires professionalism, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
Position Overview:
The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting live plant material to our wholesale clients across Western Colorado. Attention to detail, time management, and care in handling fragile products is essential. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of safety, respects the rules of the road, and takes pride in doing the job right.
Schedule Details:
This is a seasonal position with regular weekly hours, though deliveries are not scheduled every day. You’ll be on-call Monday through Saturday and expected to work full days when deliveries are assigned. A flexible schedule is essential during this high-volume season.
Requirements:
- Prior experience driving box trucks with lift gate operation is required
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to follow DOT regulations and delivery schedules precisely
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving plant trays and flats
- Professional, courteous demeanor with customers and coworkers
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver plant material with care, accuracy, and timeliness. This role requires reliable early morning starts, often as early as 6:00 a.m., to ensure orders reach customers on schedule and in excellent condition.
- Load and unload orders with care to prevent product damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch
- Operate vehicles and equipment according to all safety guidelines
