Operations Specialist

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for an Operations Specialist who can provide advanced clerical and administrative support to the Plant Manager or designated leader at the specific field location. This person should be able to perform the job with minimal supervision after receiving direction and instruction from designated leader.

Responsibilities :

They will assist in coordinating all aspects of random and suspicious drug screening and scheduling all new hire or current employee fitness exams.

This individual should maintain confidentiality with all employee information including any medical records in accordance with HIPPA regulations.

This senior level specialist is expected to perform at a higher level of responsibility. Should be able to perform job with minimal supervision after receiving direction and instruction from designated leader.

Duties and tasks are varied and may be somewhat complex.

Resolves most questions and problems independently; refers only more complex issues to higher levels of management.

Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Education / Experience :

• 3 years or more previous experience in comparable role in an administrative support or business support role is required.

Operate a 1.5-inch fire hose operating at 125 psi line pressure to the extent required to extinguish fire

Operate fire extinguishing equipment ranging from handheld extinguishers to 200 lb portable units

Access confined spaces and pressure vessels through standard 12" by 16" manways

PPE Required :

Work in areas under adverse conditions that may require the donning and use of personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, the following with average fatigue :

Negative pressure respirator

Positive pressure respirator

Self-contained breathing apparatus (steel or composite bottle)

Hardhat

Approved safety shoes

Eye protection

Rubber suit and gloves

Chemical resistant suit

Heat resistant outerwear

Flame resistant outerwear

Approved hearing protection

Gloves
