Winchester High School is seeking a dedicated and talented long term sub (LTS) High School Physical Education and Wellness Teacher who is certified in Physical Education and Health Education for grades 9-12. This position is scheduled for to be needed for from January to March.
The successful candidate will have:
Strong understanding of all facets of wellness, fitness, health, and human growth and development.
Capable of individualizing curriculum to specific student needs and interests.
Ability to work well with students of all abilities and physical activity/fitness levels.
Desire to collaborate with members of the WHS Phys Ed and Wellness department and the greater school community.
Ability to teach 21st-century health-related curriculum and topics.
Ability to incorporate Social-Emotional Learning into daily practice.
Be a problem solver, motivated, flexible, and nurturing.
