In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Education: Required: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
Preferred: Advance education in CAT scan technology
Experience: Required: One year diagnostic technology
Preferred: One year of CT
Other Skills/Knowledge:
Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- How to perform safety and quality checks, including verifying exam orders.
- Completing CT examinations following established exam protocols-established by CT Radiologist.
- Entering examinations correctly, ensuring accurate and informative documentation and appropriate charges are entered.
- How to electronically send and store images and data appropriately in PACS.
- Departmental procedures for maintaining records and logs to monitor quality and safety in accordance with departmental policies.
- Equipment cleaning and maintaining a safe work environment presenting the best possible impression of facilities and fostering our culture of safety.
- Experience with supply and equipment issues to ensure optimum operations, equipment quality and long-term equipment maintenance and life.
- Transporting and providing ambulatory assistance to patients as necessary.
- Education process and how to inform patients and family members throughout the patients' experience.
- Communication effectively with the healthcare team utilizing established handoff procedures. Gives and accepts respectful feedback to enhance teamwork and the clinical training experience.
- Minimizing preventable harm events and consistently executing the infection control protocols. Incorporates the Culture of Safety tools in daily practice, adhering to quality and safety guidelines and communicating near-miss or potential risks.
