What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Access Specialist position at Winchester Imaging?
Greets and receives patients into the health care facility. Responsible for accurate and timely processing of patient demographics and insurance information. Responsible for accurate and timely interviewing of patients and/or relative in a courteous manner to obtain registration data based upon comprehensive data elements to complete the registration process. Schedule multiple services in correct clinical sequence. Communicates with physician offices concerning clinical information. Manages the registration process to ensure the financial viability of the practice. Uses excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills. Assists other clinical staff as needed. Additional job responsibilities may be added. This position is the first impression of the facility to the patient.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
