Position Summary:
As the General Manager of our Hermetics business & facilities within our Precision Connections Division, you will be responsible for driving world-class execution by leading a team that is focused on delivering the highest level of customer service that exceeds their timelines and quality expectations. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and able to effectively collaborate, communicate, strategize, problem-solve, and manage a diverse team. This person must be prepared to manage and thrive in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Finance
- 5-8 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a matrix style organization
- Familiarity with ISO & AS9100 standards, lean or six sigma practices, budget planning and execution
- Outgoing personality with the ability to build and maintain a collaborative team environment
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the interconnect industry
- Working knowledge of connector technology and assemblies, including experience with hermetically sealed connectors, highly desired
- Working knowledge of various OEM customers and markets focused on harsh environment connector assembly applications
- Proven track record of implementing change and driving operational improvements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills

- Identify areas to invest in to support future growth (utilize DOA for CAPEX approval)
- Manage to incentives that reinforce the right behaviors (utilize the DOA for salary/incentive changes)
- Continually seek ways to improve operational efficiencies and rationalize costs (utilize the DOA for employee actions)
- Communicate with your team at a cadence that makes expectations and performance clear, and that goals are aligned at all levels with the annual goal-setting process
