Position Summary:
Our Rubber Injection Molder is responsible for operating and maintaining rubber injection molding machines to produce high-quality rubber products. This role involves setting up molds, monitoring the injection process, and ensuring the final products meet quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in rubber injection molding or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of rubber injection molding processes and machinery
- Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect products and identify defects.
- Problem-solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to address machine issues.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

- Support QA functions in performing root cause analysis. Work with QA and Process Engineering to identify assembly tools, fixtures, and programs that are in need of repair, maintenance, and/or calibration. Assists with training and orientation of employees.
- Set Up Molds: Prepare and install molds for rubber injection molding.
- Operate Machinery: Operate rubber injection molding machines, ensuring proper settings and adjustments.
- Monitor Production: Supervise the injection process, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machinery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide honest feedback with respect to the role and the relevant processes
- Establish communication channels with management, co-workers, customers, and vendors to ensure effective communication
- Evaluate ways to reduce costs and streamline processes
