Summary :
Assist the school principal in the areas of instructional leadership and supervision, curriculum development, staff development, after-school programming, and discipline referrals.
Qualifications :
- Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Administration and Supervision Pre-K - 12 or eligibility for such
- 3 year minimum of successful teaching experience, preferably at the elementary school level
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional practices and curriculum development
- Ability to build positive school culture through cultivation of positive relationships
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administrators
Salary :
Range based on the 2024-2025 Assistant Principal Salary Scale is $75,930 - $139,871. The salary scale may be adjusted based on the 2025-2026 school board budget.
