What are the responsibilities and job description for the CHAMPS - Girls on the Run Coaches position at Winchester Public Schools?
CHAMPS After School Enrichment program is seeking three staff members to serve as coaches for the 2025 Girls on the Run program.
This program is open to female students in grades 4-6 with a maximum number of participants set at 15. The program runs Mondays and Thursdays, from 3/3/25 through 5/10/25, (3:25-4:30 p.m.) and culminates in a celebratory 5k at the Cigna campus in Bloomfield on Saturday May 10th. This program combines Social Emotional Learning lessons and distance running. Training is required via the Girls on the Run of Greater Connecticut.
Ideal candidates will be certified teachers, who have experience and interest in running.
Compensation range: $25.00-$36.00 per hour.
