Winchester Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for grades 9-12:
- to provide specialized education services to students with IEPs in the general education setting and small group settings outside of the classroom
- candidates should have a strong working knowledge of developing and implementing the new IEP, data collection and analysis/progress monitoring, facilitating TEAM meetings, have strong communication skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
- training and experience with specialized writing, comprehension and/or executive functioning programs preferred
- preferred candidates will have training and experience with co-teaching, with a willingness to team teach using the different models of co-instruction
- Candidates must hold a valid DESE Moderate Special Education Teacher Certification in grades 9-12
- Master's degree plus 3 years of experience preferred
