What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher - Elementary (LOA) position at Winchester School District?
Winchester Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Co-Teacher
- To provide support services for students on IEPs within the general education setting, as well as in the pull-out setting.
- Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs, conducting and analyzing assessments, facilitating TEAM meetings, have strong communication skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
- Training and/or certification in specialized reading programs such as Wilson or Orton-Gillingham is preferred.
- Must hold a valid DESE Teacher Cerification
- Ideally Masters plus 3 years experience
- Position is available immediately and may be available through the end of the 23-24 school year.
