The Security Officer I is responsible for controlling access to the casino, patrolling the gaming floor and other areas of the property, and maintaining a visible presence to deter any potential security threats or incidents. The Security Officer I will act as the initial point of contact for guests, providing a welcoming experience while also enforcing security measures. The Security Officer I may also assist in transporting guests using company vehicles. Overall, the Security Officer I requires a strong commitment to customer service, a keen eye for security risks, and the ability to handle situations with professionalism and efficiency.

Schedule :
The Security Team operate 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. Days / shifts are assigned to meet the needs of the organization, and are subject to change to meet the needs of the organization. Positions include weekend and holiday shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Identifies all under-age patrons seeking to enter any Wind Creek Hospitality facility by requiring valid identification for any patron that appears under the age of 30 years of age
- Prevents access to the gaming floor for anyone under the age of 21
- Walks the casino floor looking for issues or problems requiring security attention
- Maintains focus and concentration in the face of distractions
- Follows and adheres to standardized operational procedures
- Monitors alcohol consumption and ensures that alcohol does not leave the property
- Exhibits enthusiasm and provides a warm welcome to patrons entering or leaving the building; Outgoing, friendly, helpful personality and a positive attitude- as to uphold WCH Values
- Prepares written reports to document incidents
- Transports guests in company vehicles
- Initiate and prepare Security Incident Reports
- Escort chips, cash, and table game drops per company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Report any criminal or suspicious activity without hesitation
- Ensure the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and Company policies and procedures
- Communicate any violations of Company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
- Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
- Safeguard the overall integrity of gaming
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements : (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
OR One (1) year of experience in a front of the house position within WC- required
Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs for a distance of 300 feet within 120 seconds
