Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative provides consultative sales to existing customers, facilitates the conversion of technical recommendations into sales, and collaborates with branch operations to achieve sales goals. This role is responsible for outbound contact with current customers, assisting in contract renewals and project estimation activities, and maintaining accurate sales data in Salesforce CRM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Consultative Sales : Engage with current customers to understand their needs and provide tailored technical recommendations that align with their business requirements.
- Outbound Contact & Lead Generation : Proactively contact existing customers through calls, emails, and other methods to uncover sales opportunities, renew contracts, and increase engagement.
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Collaboration with Branch Operations : Partner with branch operations teams to ensure seamless order delivery and resolve issues during the sales process.
- Salesforce CRM Utilization : Use Salesforce CRM to track sales activities, manage customer data, monitor pipeline progress, and maintain an organized database.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting : Meet or exceed sales targets and provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline development, and outcomes.
- Organization & Multitasking : Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
