Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to branch and functional leadership, collaborating with internal support teams (HR Service Center, Finance, Customer Experience, etc.).
- Effectively use data to identify people-related trends, risks, and opportunities, partnering with regional leadership to develop effective solutions.
- Guide leaders in talent-related decisions and accountability for business outcomes.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues by providing guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. Foster a positive work environment through proactive communication and mediation efforts.
- Support the integration of acquired businesses, ensuring cultural alignment and smooth transitions.
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies through data analysis and feedback.
- Implement HR programs that improve collaboration, operational excellence, and employee experience.
- Ensure legal compliance and consistency in HR policies, practices, and culture across all branches.
- Support safety and risk management initiatives to maintain a compliant and secure work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
- 10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a multi-location, branch-based, or blue-collar workforce environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience diagnosing business challenges and developing proactive HR solutions.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with business leaders to drive results and effect organizational change.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the flexibility to adjust direction as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI and Paylocity HRIS is a plus.
- Subject-matter expertise in complementary HR disciplines a plus (employee benefits, learning & development, talent management, etc.).
- Ability to travel regularly within the region (up to 50%).
