What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attendant position at Wind River Hotel and Casino?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sort all linens and treat stains.
- Load all laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents/appropriate wash codes.
- Take wet, clean items and dry as directed.
- Sort, fold, wrap, or iron/hang clean dried items.
- Maintain Inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to supervisor/manager.
- Maintain all laundry equipment and inform immediate supervisor as to any maintenance needs.
- Will follow and coordinate directives from Blue Sky Laundry Supervisor/Manager.
- Ensure the safety compliance of the laundry facility for Blue Sky Laundry staff and patrons.
- Provide excellent Customer Service.
- Short deadlines and extra work hours are common.
- Follow and adhere to all policy and procedure as stated in the Wind River Hotel and Casino Employee Handbook.
- Practice and always maintain confidentiality.
- Attend all mandatory meetings.
- All other duties assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Qualifications include having previous laundry experience working within commercial laundry facilities. However, this is an entry level position and training can be provided.
- Must have demonstrated good work performance, with emphasis on attendance, punctuality, and attitude.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Adjust to a flexible schedule and be reliable.
- Must be a fast-paced worker and work well with others.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Required to stand for long periods of time.
- Physical demands include, repetitive actions lifting/loading driving, laundry duties as required.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Must be dependable, reliable, and able to work alternating shifts including peak hours, promotions, holidays, and weekends.
- Must be 18 at time of hire.
- Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
- Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License.
