What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Host position at Wind River Hotel and Casino?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for identifying and developing players with increased potential through relationship building and appropriate communication methods.
- Work with declining players to maximize offer utilization and prevent program abuse.
- Promoting the Rewards Club program.
- Processing guest comps, making event arrangements, booking special events, etc.
- Assisting with planning, coordination, and implementation of all player development programs, ad initiatives.
- Monitoring the play habits, program and offer usage, and preferences of all assigned players.
- Maintaining a regular contact stream with all assigned players.
- Contacting assigned players regarding hotel reservations, parties, events, concerts, and all other initiatives or programs.
- Ensures that all activities relating to player development programs and processes are communicating efficiently through employee newsletters, articles, correspondence, communication programs, signage/collateral, and memos.
- Handling administrative tasks to ensure excellent services to the guest and support to the Director of Marketing.
- Composes and types of correspondence, forms, and reports as needed.
- Provides general service information to guests, management, and employees.
- Performs all clerical aspects of the job including logging in activities and proper filing of paperwork.
- Adheres to budgets, striving to improve the profit margin and revenues of Wind River Hotel & Casino, Little Wind Casino, and 789 Casino & Smoke Shop.
- All duties are performed with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Available on and off shifts for contact regarding players.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic mathematic skills
- Ability to look at and analyze basic data.
- Proven experience and knowledge of basic casino operations and promotions.
- Available night, weekends, holidays, and other times as deemed fit by Director of Marketing.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
- Knowledge of MS Office and willing to learn how to utilize CRM tools.
- Creative and open to new ideas.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
- Must have significant experience in a gaming environment.
- Complies with policies and procedures.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be 18 at time of hire.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs.
- Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Must be licensable under the requirements of the Northern Arapaho Gaming Agency.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to walk, stand, lift, twist, and bend.
- Must be able to work in a second-hand smoke, high noise, bright lights, dusty and smoke-filled environment.
- Must have ability to deal with and adapt to frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events at times.
