What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Room Attendant position at Wind River Hotel and Casino?
DUTIES:
- Responsible for signing in & out their pass key.
- Responsible for cleaning all rooms, check out rooms and all stay over rooms will be first
- Making sure to report all repairs to supervisor
- Making sure all tips are turned in to supervisor daily.
- Must keep carts clean
- Responsible for all DEEP CLEANING in all rooms.
- Responsible for cleaning fitness room, customer laundry room & restrooms.
- Must clean vending machines, pictures, and elevators daily
- Responsible for shampooing rooms and hallways
- Must have GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE
- On feet or standing for full duration of shift.
- All other duties assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Must be able to clean bathrooms, bedrooms, and vacuum rooms by yourself
- Must be able to clean 15 or more rooms daily
- Must complete training of Blood Borne Pathogens procedures and Housekeeping Safety and Hospitality
- Must be able to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift
CONDITONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Must be dependable, reliable, and able to work alternating shifts including peaks hours, promotions, holidays, and weekends
- Must be 18 at time of hire.
- Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
- Must have a valid Wyoming Driver’s License
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
