Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Sheetrock Mudder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in sheetrock finishing. As a Sheetrock Mudder, you will be responsible for applying and smoothing compound to sheetrock seams and imperfections, ensuring a seamless finish. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Apply joint compound to seams, corners, and indentations in sheetrock
• Smooth out compound using hand tools and sanding equipment
• Repair imperfections and prepare surfaces for painting
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of four year of experience as a sheetrock finisher
• Proficiency in using sheetrock finishing tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Must be able to work for long periods of time, often in physically demanding conditions.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment, and work at heights or in cramped spaces.
• Must be able to accurately measure, cut, and install sheetrock, and to apply joint compound and texture finishes.
• Must be able to work safely at heights and in tight spaces.
• Must be able to accurately measure and cut sheetrock, and to ensure that work is level, plumb, and square.
• Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials, including sheetrock, joint compound, and other building materials.
• Must have a high level of attention to detail to ensure that work is accurate and meets quality standards.
