What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator position at Wind Turbine and Energy Cables?
Job Duties include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment. Most important part of the job is watch take up (making sure no damage material gets put on a wire reel without being recorded) and feeding compound (if the compound that is being fed into the machine runs out, the entire processing line will shut down). Additionally, laborers and helpers work on almost all construction sites, performing a wide range of tasks varying in complexity from very easy to extremely difficult and hazardous. Although many of the tasks they perform require some training and experience, most tasks can be learned quickly. Individuals will be required to exhibit high aptitudes in a manufacturing environment and following instructions while maintaining a SAFETY-FIRST attitude. Safety gear such as steel toe boots and safety glasses will be required at a minimum.
