What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at Windermere Management?
This Accounts Payable position will work in the Association Management division of the company. A certificate or some higher education is preferred. Experience in accounting is a plus. Pay D.O.E.
Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):
- Maintaining control of check stock
- Invoicing and paying upwards of 1,000 invoices per month
- Input new vendors and verify credentials of vendors
- Execute reserve transfers
- Provide document request for tax and audit preparation
- Execute tax payments for estimated tax through IRS software
- Support Property Managers and Property Manager Assistants with accounting related topics.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in accounting through either on the job training or education.
- Must be technically proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new programs with a strong attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking ability and interpersonal skills
- Advanced customer service and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to gain certification in Essentials of Community Management within first year of employment
