Multilingual Learner (ELL) Teacher - Windham Northeast Supervisory Union

Windham Northeast Supervisory Union is seeking an ELL/ML Teacher to join our community of educators, learners and families. This position will focus on providing instructional support for our students who are learning English as a second language. This is an opportunity to work with a creative dynamic group of teachers who are dedicated to meeting the needs of their students across academic settings. Responsibilities include: Provide instruction in a variety of settings (in-class and pull-out) for K-12 students with varying levels of English proficiency Implement rigorous content curriculum using WIDA English Language Proficiency Standards and Common Core State Standards Collaborate and communicate with content teachers to align instruction and support with students’ English language development and classroom instructional needs Collaborate and communicate with other ELL/ML district-level instructors Collaborate with ELL/ML students and their families to learn about home culture and needs of student while at school and in extracurricular activities Support implementation of WIDA ACCESS
