Description:
We are searching for qualified, motivated, energetic staff to join our after school team at our Windham Primary Elementary school location! Windham Raymond School Age Child Care is a nationally accredited, state licensed, non-profit child care program providing before and after school to the children of the Windham and Raymond communities.
We provide care within RSU-14 to grades K-8 and provide our staff with plenty of growth and learning opportunities as well as a competitive benefits package. We work hard to cultivate a positive workplace environment and healthy morale among employees.
The morning hours are : 6:15 - 8:10 Monday - Friday
Afternoon hours are : 2:15pm-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 12:15-6pm on Wednesdays. Additional hours are available including activity planning and preparation, child observations, and more.
Those with experience in child care centers, summer camps, or in teaching settings encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities / Expectations:
- Collaborate with site coordinator and assistant site coordinator
- Interact with families daily
- Provide direct care and supervision of children grades Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Excellent communication with staff, children, families, and the community
- Able to work flexibly with a growing team
- Plan and implement enrichment activities
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Center based experience with children strongly preferred, willing to train!
- Background check

- Monthly wage supplement bonus through State of Maine funding ranging from $240 - $540 based on MRTQ lattice level
