The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment while delivering developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the Windham School District curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and grade-level expectations.
Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all students throughout the school day.
Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform and adjust instruction.
Establish and maintain positive, productive partnerships with students, families, and staff.
Collaborate effectively with grade-level colleagues, specialists, and administration.
Foster a classroom culture that supports academic growth and social-emotional development.
