Job Summary: The Windham School District is seeking a Reading Specialist with experience teaching foundational reading skills using a multisensory, language-based format.
Candidates must have a strong background in teaching Literacy/Reading. Strong connect knowledge of literacy development, literacy instruction, assessment, and professional learning.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and assertive leadership skills. Knowledge and understanding to coach and collaborate with teachers. Familiarity with writing IEP goals and progress reports and attending IEP meetings.
Qualifications: 0037 Reading and Writing Specialist certification required
Salary and Benefits: According to the WEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, ranges start at $42,486 to $94,397. Final salary determination will be based on education and experience.
