Job Summary:
Windham Center School seeks an enthusiastic educator for a Long Term Sub position in our 5th and 6th grade Global Concepts and STEAM courses. The ideal candidate has a background in social studies or science and uses inquiry-based instruction
to explore global connections and STEAM concepts through interdisciplinary, technology-rich learning experiences. Expertise in inquiry, project-based learning, and the use of primary sources, and digital tools is preferred.
Proficiency in a second language or experience with world language instruction is a plus. Collaboration is essential in order to work closely with colleagues to develop cross-curricular connections and support students in applying critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills to real-world contexts.
Qualifications:
- Elementary Education (K-6) State of NH Certification K-6 (1810) or (K-8) State of NH Certification K-8 (1811)
- Science (5-8) State of NH Certification 5-8 (1305)
- Social Studies (5-8) State of NH Certification (1501) or (5-12) State of NH Certification (1500)
