Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with educators to identify resources that meet curriculum needs and objectives.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve library collections, services, and facilities.
3. Supervise and train incarcerated student library clerks on library procedures and best practices.
4. Conduct regular inventory and weeding of library materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
5. Prepare reports on circulation, inventory, and other relevant data to inform decision-making.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
2. Three years of full-time work experience in a related field, including clerical, secretarial, administrative support, or library services.
3. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and data to make informed decisions.
5. Familiarity with computers and peripheral equipment, including Microsoft Office and online databases.
