Description:
Full-time teaching position. Deliver direct instruction to students who are struggling with mathematics and literacy.
Job Summary:
The Student Support Team / Response to Intervention Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operations of the SST & RTI programs ensuring the successful delivery of services to students and providing guidance
and assistance to students throughout their academic journey. This role involves coordinating student outreach, mentoring, counseling, and academic support services while collaborating with other departments to ensure
a comprehensive and holistic approach to student success.
Responsibilities: The SST/RTI Coordinator will:
-Coordinate and oversee the Student Support Team and Response to Intervention programs at the building level.
-Plan, organize, and execute successful SST meetings
-With input from the Student Support Team and classroom teachers, create and review intervention plans to support struggling students academically and behaviorally
-Maintain organized records of student progress and intervention plans
-Oversee interventions for students in tiers 1 and 2
-Collect and analyze student data to track progress and adjust interventions as needed
-Assist teachers in choosing and implementing evidence-based intervention and instructional practices for all learners
-Work with small groups of students as needed on content area remediation.
-Teach/co-in a classroom setting
-Collaborate with building professionals and other SST/RtI Coordinators in the district
-Serve as a liaison between teachers, parents, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student success
-Provide professional development opportunities for staff
Qualifications:
The candidate must have a New Hampshire Certification for K-6 (1810) or K-8 (1811), Elementary Math Specialist K-6 (1150), and/or Mathematics, Middle Level (to Algebra1/Integrated I)(1102) as well as experience with the Multi-Tiered System of Support process and intervention planning. Knowledge of the Universal Screening Process and assessment platforms - Renaissance STAR, and PowerSchool, a plus.
