The successful candidate will be able to effectively discuss how they work with historically marginalized demographic groups of students.Academy School is seeking an Academic Support Teacher beginning in the fall of 2025. This position works across grades multiple grades and is a crucial part of our multi-layered system of supports.
The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the MLSS Framework and how it applies to Academic instruction and targeted interventions; in addition to knowledge of early literacy and foundational math concepts. Additionally, this person will use data to guide instruction and will help to guide grade level teams in making data-informed instructional decisions. Flexibility, good communication skills, and a collaborative approach are essential skills for this position. A minimum of five years as a teacher is required.
