BRATTLEBORO UNION HIGH SCHOOLDEAN OF STUDENTSThe Windham Southeast School District (WSESD)/Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is an increasingly diverse community with an ongoing commitment to social justice and anti-racism. Brattleboro Union High School is seeking a qualified educator to serve as our Dean of Students. This position is an integral part of the administrative team at BUHS and works closely with the principal and assistant principals to resolve discipline issues to create a supportive and productive environment for students and staff. The candidate will also serve as a support for students and families encountering academic and social obstacles.
This educator should be well versed in best practices associated with developing a trauma informed school and implementing productive educational communities at the classroom and school levels. Experience working as a resource to teachers as well as students is also required as well as three or more years of classroom teaching experience is required. The candidate will also be committed to working in a school that uses a MLSS model. Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain a Vermont AEO license.
This is a school year length position. WSESU/SD is looking for employees who are interested in working in schools that are committed to best practices in education.
