What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Custodian - Long-term Substitute position at Windham Southeast Supervisory Union?
Putney Central School, nestled on a 180-acre campus in the Connecticut River Valley of southern Vermont and serving 185 students in grades PK - 8, is seeking applicants for a temporary position of evening custodian. At PCS we strive to create a learning environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, equity, and inclusion where everyone is valued and respected, as well as a strong connection to the natural world through outdoor learning. The position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to be an integral part of a welcoming and collaborative school community and develop the many skills needed to manage all aspects of maintaining and developing a Pk - 8th grade school building and campus. Priority will be given to those candidates who show an interest in engaging with students as part of their facility management work.This position would start immediately, and run for an anticipated length of roughly two months, but this is subject to change.
Hours of the position are daily from 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. The successful candidate will have a proven history of an ability to work independently, take care and pride in their work, be physically able to be on their feet for a full shift, and a close attention to detail in maintaining a clean and functional work space.
