What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist - Entry level - PT position at Windham Terrace Assisted Living?
PT days, 3 to 4 days per week, which includes every other weekend required. 900a-430p, subject to change.
We are looking for a entry level receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. Tasks include distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
Responsibilities include -
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or apartment
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Assist with transportation appointments, including driving
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Customer service attitude
- Courteous, diplomatic and polite.
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
