Winding Creek Counseling Services is seeking a part time medical receptionist. This positions primary responsibilities include:
- Answer telephones and provide accurate information to callers
- Schedule future appointments with clients
- Interact with insurance companies on the telephone in order to obtain benefit information
- Greet and check in clients
- Payment collection
- Copying and filing
- Supporting the office manager and clinical staff
Job qualifications:
- High School diploma
- At least 3 years of experience working in a medical practice or other professional office setting
- Evening and weekend hours are required
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- MS Office and EMR
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Medical billing and coding experience is a plus
