Role Overview

As a Corporate and Event Sales Manager at Windmills, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue by securing corporate events, private parties, and other tailored experiences. This role involves lead generation, client relationship management, event planning oversight, and sales strategy execution to enhance profitability and brand visibility.

You will collaborate closely with the operations, marketing, and culinary teams to deliver exceptional experiences aligned with Windmills’ reputation for authentic, well-crafted food, music, and Beer.


Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Customer Insights

  • Conduct thorough research to understand the local and regional market landscape, including customer demographics.
  • Identify customer needs, trends, and expectations for corporate events, private gatherings, and other bookings.
  • Develop tailored sales packets and marketing collateral that effectively communicate the unique offerings of Windmills, aligning with both the venue’s ethos and customer requirements.


Sales Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan targeting corporate clients, event organizers, and high-value private parties.
  • Generate leads through networking, partnerships, outreach programs, and local business collaborations.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, including lead generation, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports, including revenue forecasts, KPIs, and lead conversion rates.


Event Management

  • Collaborate with clients to understand event needs and curate personalized experiences, including corporate gatherings, weddings, and private parties.
  • Oversee all event logistics, including vendor management, catering arrangements, AV support, décor, and entertainment.
  • Work with the culinary and brewery teams to optimize event menus that align with client needs and drive profitability.
  • Monitor event execution to ensure a seamless and memorable customer experience.
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and profitability targets.


Marketing Collaboration

  • Work with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns for corporate events, holiday packages, and exclusive offers.
  • Identify local and regional opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and promotional activities to increase Windmills’ visibility.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team on content for the website and social media to highlight Windmills as a premium event venue.


Customer Experience

  • Analyze client feedback and event outcomes to continually improve the event experience and operations.
  • Train staff on customer service best practices specific to events and corporate hospitality.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, corporate events, or hospitality management.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, event planning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing high-profile or large-scale events.
  • Established network of corporate clients and event planners in the DFW area.
  • Passion for food, music, and craft Beer


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Event revenue growth and achievement of monthly/annual targets.
  • Conversion rates from leads to closed sales.
  • Client satisfaction scores and repeat business metrics.
  • Increase in event inquiries through proactive outreach and campaigns.

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
